It is always a 'snow day' in Banff National Park
SnowDays is a exciting new festival that celebrates all that is wonderful about winter. Building on past traditions and establishing new ones, you can expect a variety of ways to play and enjoy Banff National Park with fun weekend events and mid-week festivities.
From skiing and snowboarding to ice-skating, snowshoeing to curling, ice-walking to tubing and back-country adventure to apres-hopping come and experience the amazing winter wonderland that is Banff National Park.
New events such as the Mountain Adventure Weekend and "Take it to the Street" hockey tournament on Banff Ave, combined with the ever popular Ice Magic Festival, now two weekends of fun, will add to the excitement of the season. Throw in a new outdoor skating rink decked out with lights, festive atmosphere and new programming by Parks Canada and Banff Heritage Tourism, we'll all have something to celebrate and share.

Now in its 11th year, Calgarys premier dining event (formerly Dine Out Calgary) is for Calgary diners what the playoffs are for hockey fans. A chance to experience the best. March 2-12 will be the 11 tastiest days of the year in Calgary.
As in past years The Big Taste will also offer special culinary and wine events, including cooking classes, where foodies can meet, learn from, and dine with celebrity chefs and noted food writers. Restaurants are encouraged to organize their
own special events as part of The Big Taste. The Big Taste website will feature menus from participating restaurants. The website goes live with complete listings on Feb 17, 2012.
