Book, music, and lyrics by Joe Slabe
Presented by Forte Musical Theatre Guild
Comedy, Tragedy, Romance, Singing, AND Swordfighting!!
What happens when the boys of St. Mark’s and the girls of St. Anne’s join up to present a classic French tale of love and intrigue? Cyrano de Bergerac leaps from the page to the stage… to the hearts of both under-age and sage. Love blossoms, jealousies flare, secrets abound, and everyone gets an education beyond what they’d bargained for.
Jeremy de Bergerac is a testament to the transformative powers of great art and youthful passion.

It’s happening right now, all around you; there are stories and ideas and all the elements of a great play everywhere we look.
Bringing together the unique insights and talents of artists across the country, the plays in the 26th Annual Enbridge playRites Festival take their inspiration from the rolling Alberta foothills, the suburbs, the pages of the newspaper and the condo towers that rise above our heads.
Whether they are inviting us to laugh at ourselves or moving us to a hip-hop beat, whether they are challenging us to engage in conversation about the energy industry or reminding us of the power of a single gesture, these are stories that have never been told before. Experience them here first as they premiere at Alberta Theatre Projects.
An Enbridge playRites Festival passPort is the perfect way to see all four world premieres. Grab the schedule; there are free public readings, discussions with the artists and events that celebrate the stories all around us.
Blitz Weekend
