Please join in for the Annual Fundraiser: The 2012 Valentines Ball, which includes dinner, dance and a LIVE performance. All net proceeds go towards surgeries to help prevent infant blindness.
Help Stop Blindness and Hunger in Africa and Asia (HSBHAA) was established in 2007 as a registered non-profit, non-religious charitable organization. It is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is operated solely by volunteers. HSBHAA's mandate is to PREVENT blindness in Africa.
100% of the proceeds raised from fundraising events and from your donations are sent to the HH Aga Khan Platinum Jubilee Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya through the Aga Khan Foundation. All funds are directed towards saving infants with congenital glaucoma.

What could be more fun and entertaining than a Valentine’s Day weekend concert presented by the Mountain View Connection and Lougheed House? "Albion" is an ancient word for England, and the Valentine’s Day love affair is clearly one with English music. It not only features magician Malcolm Russell creating a little prestidigitation for Valentine’s Day, but also includes works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Frank Bridge and Rebecca Clarke. CPO Assistant Concertmaster Donovan Seidle, CPO players violist Michael Bursey and bassist Matthew Heller as well as Calgary cellist Kirill Kalmykov will join pianists Charles Foreman and Kathleen van Mourik for the performance.
